I live in "Cubicle World" so it helps to drown out the other people (those that swear they have walls, jeez they can be loud). It also helps me focus on projects. HOWEVER, I will admit that there have been times during one of the Roman Brother's sessions (listening to audio book) that I have been just staring at the computer screen not doing any work!!!
